Does anyone know the whereabouts of some of the early winners and all time great elite competitors?
WE would like to invite them to come and be our guests and officially start the 2006 event.   

eg Ted Dance and Bob Astles were the first winners in 1968

Later in the season we will have an 'originals' recognition certificate for runners who have done 10, 15, 20 events. This will be applied for on line and probably presented at the 2006 event.

For what its worth, John Hammond and myself won the B class handicap prize in 1976

We have found Ted and Bob and they are coming to present prizes.
